Yes. The youngest age we see is 3 years old, with play therapy as the primary way of working with your little one.
Do you work with teenagers?
Yes, at HeartsPlay we work with teenagers on a variety of presenting concerns. Our clinicians aim to build a strong therapeutic relationship with our teenagers to build a safe space for them.
Do you only work with children and teenagers?

Do you work with divorced families?
Yes. At HeartsPlay, one of our specialties is working with divorced or separated families. Our standard practice is to obtain the finalized divorce decree before scheduling the child. We will also make an effort to reach out to both parents at the onset of therapy.
Can you give the court your professional opinion for custody?
No, at HeartsPlay, we are not trained forensic evaluators, therefore, we cannot give opinions on custody. According to Texas Family Code 104.008.A, a person may not offer an expert opinion or recommendation relating to the conservatorship of or possession of or access to a child at issue in a suit unless the person has conducted a child custody evaluation. We do not conduct child custody evaluations, but if needed, we would be happy to refer your family to the appropriate professional.
